The exhibit was held in the Sapporo Museum of Contemporary Art within the Sapporo Art Park. THE JUSTICE CENTER GALLERY; FEATURING EAST CREEK ART June 3-July 15th, 2018 Featuring wood fired ceramic artists who are dedicated to the mission of East Creek Anagama and the property. The East Creek Anagama was built in 1983 by Oregon artists Nils Lou, Tom Coleman, and Frank Boyden with the mission to bring ceramic education via wood firing to the west coast. The first of its kind built west of the Mississippi, the kiln and 20 forested acres on which it sits were owned and managed by Nils Lou. The people at East Creek are members of the wood firing community hailing from all walks of life and all corners of the globe. Joe Robinson owns and operates the East Creek Property and is committed to East Creek's educational mission for years to come.

STOKED February 6 -March 26, 2015 Investigates the similarities and differences between various wood-fired kilns in two regions of the Pacific: the Pacific Northwestern United States and the Hyogo Prefecture in Japan. More than 15 kilns and over 50 artists are represented in the show.

This exhibition will feature a variety of artists whose work is diversified by the kiln their work is fired in. the 4 Oregon wood fire (Anagama) Kilns features in this show include; East Creek Anagama in Wilamina, OR, Noble Hill Anagama in Forest Grove, OR, FuukooGama Wood fire kiln in Sheridan, OR and Pleasant Hill Pottery in Pleasant Hill, OR. Artists in this exhibition utalize the diversity of these kilns to push the boundaries of what wood fire has been and will become.
